17th Kowloon (La Salle) Group - 75th Anniversary Group Investiture & Banquet on 17th Nov 2012 (Sat) @ La Salle College School Auditorium

Dear members and friends of the 17th family,

The Year 2012 is the 75th Anniversary of the 17th Kowloon (La Salle) Group. Our Group, sharing the same vision with Lord Baden Powell, aimed at nurturing Lasallians as good citizens, fulfilling their duty to the country and helping others.

In commemoration of this historical moment, a Group Investiture as well as a Banquet will be held. The Group Investiture is where all new members of our grasshoppers, cub scouts, scouts, venture scouts and rover scouts will be invested to become one of our uniformed member of the Group while senior members will be conferred their progressive badges as well as other awards in Scouting.

Meanwhile, the Banquet serves as a platform for our invited guests, friends of the Group, and Seventeeners to witness this special occasion, being the climax of a series of events held, in celebrating our Group’s 75th Anniversary. As dedicated members and supporters of our Group, you are cordially invited to join the celebration, sharing with us our joy.

6.30pm Flag hoisting and banquet begins

Volleyball Court, G/F, La Salle College (Investiture)

School Auditorium, LG2, La Salle College (Banquet)

Dress Code:

Smart casual for guests, full uniform for scouts and scouters

Fee:

Free of charge for Investiture

(Parents and friends welcome)

HKD 75 per head for Banquet

(Family members welcome, but due to physical limits of the hall, current and past uniform members and scouters as well as Group Committee of 17th would be given priority)

If you choose to pay online, we will send you a PayPal payment request via email soon after we receive your submission. Alternatively, you can also choose to submit a crossed cheque to our scouters of the five sections before the deadline to pay for the banquet tickets (address to Mr. Henry CHIU, our Rover Scout Leader, with your name and contact number written on the back).
